A good steak should be juicy, loaded with flavour and little specks of fat. Everyone orders their steak differently but if you want your meat full of flavour and juice, I’d reckon go for medium rare.

That being said, we think of the old steakhouses our parents used to take us as kids and inevitably there are at least a handful of them that is still around. Scroll below for the list of 5 classic restaurants that are still up and going.

1. Jake’s Charbroil Steaks

Jake’s is known as the nice steakhouse along Sprint highway. Do note that although their restaurant may seem a little old school, their steaks are still as good as many years ago. Their steaks are marinated well and the wine list is amazing. A perfect spot to enjoy dinner with your loved ones.

2. The Ship

With a nautical themed going on, you can find yourself being served by captains and crews in Maritime uniforms giving the illusion of dining in a real ship. This fancy restaurant that was considered one of the most romantic spots decades ago still offers a similar menu. You can find their signature Sizzling Tenderloin Steak full of flavour and affordable.

3. Maria’s Steak Cafe

Since its first debut in 1921, Coliseum has been an iconic hostelries making it THE place for steaks in Kuala Lumpur.
