Throughout this difficult time, Sunway Velocity Mall appreciate our food delivery riders as they are always out on-the-go, exposed to more risk on a daily basis doing food deliveries to cater to the community.

On a mall-wide effort, Sunway Malls team up with Woman Up by Kloth Cares to create Upcycled Raya Pouch. It is a sustainability initiative and it is designed to serve 3 pillars which are;
- Upcycling recycled or donated fabrics
- Uplifting earning potentials of women from the B40 community
- Upraising Sunway Malls’ contributions to Malaysian social enterprises and charitable organizations

This collaboration exemplifies the malls’ continued support in line with Sunway Group’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The Upcycled Raya Pouch is made in Malaysia and sewn by women from the B40 household income group, mostly single mothers from economically vulnerable communities around Selangor.
Aside from that, as part of a collective effort, Sunway Velocity Mall together with its sister malls are also spreading the Raya cheer to 141 underprivileged children across four orphanages in Selangor by gifting them new ‘Baju Raya’.
