No More “Agak-Agak” Car Servicing: How ServAuto Is Changing Car Servicing in Malaysia

Let’s be real, sending a car for servicing can feel like a gamble. One minute it’s a simple oil change, next thing you know the bill looks nothing like expected. Add in uncertainty around parts and service quality, and it’s no surprise many drivers feel unsure.

That’s exactly the problem ServAuto is fixing.

Launched in 2024, this Malaysian startup aims to make car servicing clear and straightforward. Drivers can book services like oil changes or window tinting with upfront pricing and no surprises. Packages are available on ServAuto’s website, TikTok Shop, Shopee, and through a partnership with CARSOME, Malaysia’s largest used car platform, making it easy to get started.

In just over a year, more than 30,000 Malaysians have turned to ServAuto for a more predictable and transparent car servicing experience. Behind the scenes, ServAuto works with manufacturers and authorised distributors to ensure genuine parts and plans inventory in advance using booking data, avoiding costly last-minute sourcing. Instead of replacing workshops, ServAuto partners with them, introducing better systems, clearer workflows, and steady demand to deliver a consistent experience for drivers.

With RM24 million in funding, ServAuto plans to expand nationwide, growing from 150 to 500 workshops, bringing reliable, transparent car servicing closer to every neighbourhood.

At the end of the day, most people just want peace of mind when it comes to their cars. ServAuto is proving that with the right systems in place, car servicing doesn’t have to feel uncertain — it can be simple, clear, and trusted.
