ESCAPE Cameron Highlands: 8 Things You Need To Know About This New Theme Park In M’sia

ESCAPE, the company that is known for their ESCAPE Theme Park in Penang is set to open a European themed theme park in Cameron Highlands. Here are 8 things you should know about this new theme park.

1. The first phase of ESCAPE Cameron Highlands is scheduled to open in the first half of 2023.

2. The theme park will feature the FIRST dry ski slope in Malaysia with a 1.2km slope with a 920m high ski lift.

3. ESCAPE Cameron Highland will feature European themed architecture and games, for instances, street bowling, chasing after the cheese and more.

4. ESCAPE Cameron Highlands is a joint project by Sim Leisure Group and Hektar Muda Sdn Bhd.

5. The official signing ceremony of ESCAPE Cameron Highlands was officiated by Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Dato’ Sri Hajah Nancy Shukri earlier today.

6. ESCAPE Cameron Highlands will rely 100% on renewable energy to operate, making it an eco-friendly theme park.

7. If every process goes smoothly, ESCAPE Cameron Highlands will open in 3 phases. Phase 1 will take 15 to 18 months, Then, the theme park will open in the first half of 2023. Phase 2 and Phase 3 will be carried out subsequently. New attractions will be introduced in each phase as well.

8. Visitors will get to experience 5 different European villages at varying elevations – starting with the Iberian village at the bottom, followed by the British, Balkan and Nordic villages moving up, before finally peaking at the Alpine village at the top.
