This legendary Roast Pork is so popular, it is usually sold out within 3 hours so do come early if you are planning to try some! The owner, Mr Wong started his shop at the age of 20’s, and start to serve this legendary roast pork ever since. The roast pork is crispy from the outside and juicy on the inside. The crackling sound occurs when you sink your teeth into the meat and the juice will start splashing in your mouth.. Woot! What an experiences!

The nameless stall open only during evening and usually have a long queue for it so be prepared to wait. The owner has been operating for more than 30 years and still insist on cooking each and every pot by his own to ensure the taste will not differ from one and the others. The chicken rice comes with charcoaled rice aromas and every spoonful you take you can definitely taste the Siao Xin wine they pour into the chicken rice!

May King is a legendary restaurant which is famous in Pudu for its Lam Mee. It was founded 30 plus year ago at few lots away from its current location. Currently the shop is run by the second generation, who is the founder’s daughter. Their signature Lam Mee is served in generous thick gravy soup with noodles of your choice such as thick yellow mee, kway teow or meehoon. We also heard that diners may even have to book a place in advance during weekends as they are packed to the brim so be there early as tables tend to get filled pretty fast.

Even our current and previous Prime Minister and even Dato’ Lee Chong Wei have dined here. Although the queue is always long, they serve their nasi lemak extremely fast, 15 minutes tops to get your food. As for their taste, fluffy coconut rice paired with their spicy sambal and finished with a bite of their crunchy chicken drumstick. Delicious!

Many would say Menya Shi-shi Do is the place to go for the BEST Japanese Ramen in Petaling Jaya, and we absolutely agree! Every bowl of Ramen is prepared by the Japanese owner who learned to speak Malay to converse better to his customers.

You can add in different flavours such as curry, basil, garlic and a few more, to the broth itself according to your personal preferences. The noodles usually comes with generous portion of noodles, a few pieces of Charshu and an Ajitama egg. The broth are usually smooth and delectable and goes so well with their firm and silky noodles, definitely a hearty bowl of ramen.

You don’t have to travel all the way up to Penang to try the famous Mee Sotong, as the brother of Hameed Pata Mee Sotong has his own stall in Petaling Jaya. The owner Mr Seeni who is beloved by his customers, is one of the few stalls in the Klang Valley that sells this dish

The sotong sambal here is marinated and cooked for 6 hours to ensure the it soaked up all the essences of their special sauces. Nothing beats the charred taste of the mee goreng paired with their flavourful sotong.

They do have the authentic food that are served in HUGE portions such as cheese naan and fried rice and noodles and pasta, but the main attraction for their restaurant will be their dessert menu. They have Creme Brulee, Vanilla Panna Cotta and even pies! Imagine after you have yummy main course and you still can have a glorious dessert! An experiences that you cannot have in any mamak store beside William’s Corner!

Started in early 1974 as Restaurant Sharifa, Restoran Mahbub has been in business for 45 years. Since then, they have been serving their signature Nasi Briyani Ayam Madu. A new Japanese restaurant has invaded Taipan USJ. Washoku Taipan Japanese Restaurant officially opened on the 20th of February this year. All of their sushi are only selling from RM1.70 to RM3.70. Like other typical Japanese restaurants, they do have other Japanese option such as Donmono, Menmono and Yakimono. However, they have their own signature dish which is Sushi Burger.
